ATTENTION - New Venue Site

The 14th Annual National Prep School Invitational, featuring 30 of the top prep schools in the country, will be held Thursday through Sunday, February 2, 3, 4 and 5, 2012, at Rhode Island College, 600 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, R.I. This annual college exposure event features the traditional New England powers along with teams from the Metro area, Midwest, South and West Coast, as well as the Canarias Basketball Academy from Spain.

Since its inception, the NPSI has had over 600 future Division I college players showcase their talents. Twenty-five players have gone on to the NBA, including veterans Caron Butler, Ryan Gomes, Craig Smith, Jarrett Jack, and Francisco Garcia, along with recent notables Michael Beasley, Brandon Rush and Andray Blatche. This year's NBA Draft included NPSI alumns Markieff Morris, Marcus Morris, DeAndre Liggins and Isaiah Thomas.

The NPSI is the longest running event of its kind in the country. The fact that it is held in February ensures that the teams are playing at their highest level. The NPSI is a not-for-profit event. Tickets are $10 per day of admission. Free admission to attendees under the age of 18-years-old.
