The 11th Annual National Prep School Invitational, featuring 20 of the top prep schools in the country, will be held Thursday through Sunday, February 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2008, at Keaney Gymnasium on the campus of the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI.
This year's event includes Mississippi Elite, Patterson School, Notre Dame Prep, Bridgton Academy, St. Thomas More, Worcester Academy and the Winchendon School.
Since its inception, the NPSI has had over 600 future Division I college players showcasing their talents, with over 20 going on to play in the NBA, including Caron Butler, Rashad McCants, Dorell Wright, Andray Blatche, Brandon Rush and Michael Beasley. Past NBA drafts featured former NPSI standouts Jarret Jack and Ryan Gomes.
